![]() ![]() When I disconnect the Mackie-Onyx and listen to the sounds straight from the Mac Pro's own speaker it sounds all just fine. When i try to connect from the VMWare machine to the remote machine, I get the 'Version out-of-date: Update the remote Teamviewer. ![]() Like there is some delayed latency issue. I have a MacBook that is running 10.8.5 inside VMWare and a remote Mac that is running 10.8.5 natively. It sounds like the computer is having a difficult time dealing with sending it's info to the Mackie Onyx Mixing desk. ![]() More specifically when I open up a new score, or an old one, and start to enter notes, or even just playback notes already entered, the sound 'crackles'. I figured that there was perhaps a problem with the cable (so I bought a new one) but I doubt that is the problem because Logic X works just fine, as do all other audio playback applications on my computer. I'm using a Mackie Onyx Mixing desk which is connected on one side to my Mac Pro via fire-wire 400 and on the other side goes into my Genelec Monitors. For Mac OS X 10.4.8 (Tiger) to Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan), click the download button on the right for OmniWeb 5. I've had the problem for at least a year, but previously the problem was solved by quitting Sibelius and then then opening it up again. Yesterday my copy of Sibelius (7.1.3) started making strange crackling sounds. ![]()
